ceramics work

I only started working with clay a few years ago, but it has quickly become a favorite medium. It’s transformation from raw clay to beautiful, functional, eternal form is something that speaks to me on a deep level. Ceramics are an act of creation! From earth we are all born, to earth we will return. Clay allows me to step away from perfectionism and embrace it’s unpredictable nature. As always, I’m inspired by the land around me - and have been enjoying the ability to eternalize it through new expressive forms and illustrative designs.
